Sitka sizing is comparable to New Zealand and Australian sizes - so if you wear a large in a work shirt a large in Sitka will generally be the right fit too.
Order the same size in base and outer layers, the outer layer in the same size is designed to fit over the layers that are likely to be worn underneath it.
